Leap, Scramble, and Explore With the Ultimate Holiday Activity in Wales
Coasteering in St Davids is one of the most popular holiday activities in Wales. It’s the perfect way to let go, feel fully alive and tap into the wild, extraordinary energy of the Pembrokeshire Coast.
Climb, leap, scramble, and swim, exploring sea caves, rocky ledges and hidden coves carved by Atlantic waves. Each session is completely exclusive and closed off just for you. No crowds, no rush, just your group at your pace and a remote stretch of coast to call your own.

Co-founders Pete and Lyn are your local guides. Pete’s been coasteering these shores since he was a boy. It’s not just a job for Pete; it’s a family tradition that runs through generations.
Lyn moved to Pembrokeshire – who would want to live anywhere else? When coasteering becomes part of your life and the coastal environment starts flowing in your veins, even a few days away from Pembrokeshire seem impossible.
Whether you’re chasing adrenaline or just want to explore the sea from a fresh perspective, our bespoke private group coasteering adventures are designed to take you far beyond the ordinary. We’ll even handle all the photos so you can focus on the fun.

Why Go Coasteering in Pembrokeshire With the Real Adventure Company?
We’ve been coasteering in St Davids since before the sport had a name. While the term was coined in the 1980s, our founder Pete and his family had been “going along the bottom” long before that.

WHERE WE GO ON OUR WEST WALES COASTEERING TRIPS
We take you to the places no road leads to, with some of the best coasteering locations in the UK, all just 15 minutes from our base in St Davids.

Some of our coasteering routes have full exposure to the open Atlantic Ocean; others are more hidden away in sheltered coves and bays. So, we can select the best route each day based on the weather, the tides, the swell, and your group’s vibe. Expect to explore:
- Wave-sculpted inlets and sea caves
- Coastal geology – learn about the coastal formations and then jump off them
- Remote coves and headlands inaccessible by any other means
- Wildlife-dense coastal habitat – learn about the often unnoticed and fascinating little creatures living on the rocks and in the water
We are members of the National Coasteer Charter and the National Trust Pembrokeshire Coasteering Concordat. Thanks to these partnerships, we can access amazing, off-the-map locations and help monitor and protect our beautiful natural coastal environment.
