Immersive Outdoor Adventure Activities for Schools
If you’re looking for outdoor adventure school trips in Wales that open minds, spark curiosity and build confidence you’re in the right place.
At The Real Adventure Company, we know that some of the most important life lessons can’t be taught in the classroom – they’re discovered halfway up a sea cliff or floating with the rhythm of the waves.
Through safety-first, expert-led adventures, we blend challenge, education, and real fun – making us one of the leading providers of school adventure days and residential trips for primary and secondary schools in Wales.
Our outdoor learning experiences suit school groups of all ages and can be full-on adventures or slower, more reflective sessions. We also take care of all the photography for you, so there’s no need for anyone to be glued to their phones.
Ready to take the classroom outdoors? Plan your school trip today.

Day and Residential Adventure Activity Programmes for Primary and Secondary Schools
Every Real Adventure school trip is custom-made to excite, empower and help children understand how to become part of the world instead of just passing through it. Whether you want a half-day confidence builder for Year 6 or a secondary school team building week in the wild, activities include:
- Coasteering
- Kayaking & canoeing
- Surfing & beach games
- Climbing & coastal exploring
- Hillwalking & orienteering
- Bushcraft & problem solving
- Boat trips & coast walks
- Historical fieldwork & environmental studies
You can book school trip activities as a standalone programme or incorporate them into your own field trip plans. We can also align activities to the curriculum.
We are an AALA-licensed activity centre, and every excursion is led by qualified local outdoor instructors. We provide all the specialist equipment required to keep you safe and comfortable.
Unlike many outdoor activity centres for schools, we don’t stick to one site. The entire Pembrokeshire Coast is our classroom, and we choose the best wild spaces to suit your students, the activity and the day’s conditions.
Bring learning to life on the Pembrokeshire Coast. Build Your Real Adventure.
