Our campsite facilities include:

  • Clean toilets and showers
  • Outdoor sinks and fresh drinking water
  • Wastewater disposal, refuse and recycling points

We have a range of grassy pitches, with and without electric hookups, and welcome family tents, campervans, motorhomes, and caravans.

Standard, Secluded and Wild Camping Options

We’ve also created a couple of special spots if you want a bit more privacy or prefer your camping holidays on the wilder side:

  • The Secret Corner: Great for groups and families, this more secluded section of the field has a bank and natural hedge line that gives a touch of extra solitude.
  • Bee-Friendly Wild Camping Area: For more of a wild camping experience, why not pitch up in our bee-friendly meadow? We’re sure you’ll love it as much as the bees, birds, and butterflies.

We have year-round availability and are a certificated site with The Camping and Caravanning Club.

Are there things to do near St Davids? +

Yes, lots! St Davids is a great base from which to explore Pembrokeshire, West Wales and even further along the South Wales coast. Favourite coastal villages include Trefin, Abereiddy, Porthgain, Porthclais and Solva, and some lovely larger towns like Tenby, Fishguard and Pembroke. A handy bus service will shuttle you to most places around the Pembrokeshire Coast.

Within walking distance of our campsite, you’ll find plenty of things to do, including Dr Beynon’s Bug Farm, boat trips, shops, cafes, galleries, the cathedral and the Bishop’s Palace. You can reach the Pembrokeshire Coast path on foot, Caerfai beach, and St Non’s Well and Chapel (birthplace of St David).

How close is Whitesands Beach to your campsite? +

Whitesands Bay is about 2 miles away – just a short drive or around 40 minutes’ walk from our camping fields.

Is St Davids Camping a dog-friendly campsite? +

Yes, dogs are allowed (we have four-legged friends of our own here on the farm). Well behaved dogs kept under control and on leads are very welcome. We ask you to please clean up after them and respect the livestock on the farm.

Do you allow campfires or barbecues? +

We allow raised barbecues – they must not be placed directly on the grass. Campfires are not permitted.

Can I book the Secret Corner for exclusive use? +

Yes, you can. This area only has two pitches, so reserving both will give you space and more privacy. It’s a popular option for larger families or groups of friends who want to relax together in their own little area of the campsite.

Can we book activities after we arrive, or do we have to do so in advance? +

It’s always better to book before you visit us as we can be very busy, particularly during the peak holiday season. However, if the mood takes you while you are staying at the campsite, please let us know, and we’ll always do our best to fit you in once you’re here.

How much do your camping and caravan pitches cost? +

Check our St Davids Camping website for up-to-date pitch prices, offers, and availability. (Pricelist)

Is there a minimum stay requirement? +

No there is no minimum number of nights stay. Though most people that book one night want to stay for another.

How quiet is your campsite? +

The site is on a working farm outside town, so apart from sheep and birds, it’s pretty quiet. We are a family-friendly campsite, so we ask all campers to keep the noise down after 10 p.m.
